Football: Berbatov keen on Milan

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov’s agent claimed that the striker would welcome the opportunity to join AC Milan, according to Sky Sports. Berbatov is expected to leave the English giants in the summer after admitting he is unlikely to figure in manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans. “He may leave United at any time,” said the Bulgarian’s agent. “His most likely destination is Italy, he’s always loved Italian football. I know that Milan are looking for a striker. I can’t say much but I do say that Berbatov likes Milan and would run to the club, because they have appreciated him for years. They will have to speak with Manchester United and start negotiations.”
