KARACHI:
The Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) continues to be without its own bowling arena and its players have been limited to play the game commercially in different bowling arenas of the country. The PTBF, which has been sending its players to take part in international events, rued the lack of facilities in Pakistan which has hampered the development of players. “Our players have taken part in events in Italy and France this year where they performed well despite having difficulties in training,” said PTBF Secretary Ijazur Rehman. “They have to play at expensive commercial clubs that lack facilities of international standards.” He also revealed that Pakistan will participate in the 22nd Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship, which will be held from September 2 in Hong Kong.
