Exhibition: Calligraphic works showcased at RAC

More than 70 rare art pieces of calligraphy are on display at the exhibition.

An exhibition by calligrapher Muhammad Azeem Iqbal was inaugurated at Rawalpindi Arts Council in connection with Ramazan on Tuesday, according to a press release. More than 70 rare art pieces of calligraphy are on display at the exhibition. Iqbal is among the calligraphists who introduced new techniques by using leather, wood, handmade paper, gold leaf, stones, copper and Aab-e-Zam Zam. Iqbal works with Kufic, Thuluth and Nastalique scripts and has participated in exhibitions at home and abroad. The exhibition will remain open till July 21.
