Medium bank category: Soneri Bank wins runner-up award
Deposit base of over Rs103 billion has made it one of the fastest growing banks in the country’s medium-sized category

Soneri Bank has announced that it has won the runner-up award for ‘Best Bank of the Year 2011’, given by the CFA Association in the medium banks’ category. In a press release, Soneri says this reflects the bank’s impressive and growing performance in transaction banking and trade sector last year.
According to the bank, its deposit base of over Rs103 billion as on March 31, 2012 has made it one of the fastest growing banks in the country’s medium-sized category.
“The bank continues to expand its network with a current footprint of 214 branches across the country and is committed to extending service to customers that are far beyond banking,” it says.
