Domestic violence: Woman killed, another injured
Doctors treating woman at Allied Hospital describe her condition as critical.
FAISALABAD:
A woman was killed and another injured allegedly in beating by their husbands on Thursday night.
In Bhowana, Zeb Bibi was found strangled and killed at her home in Chak 191.
The FIR registered on the complaint of Azam Ali, a brother of the deceased, stated that she was killed by her husband who suspected her of having an affair with some neighbhour.
The body was sent to the Bhowana tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital for an autopsy and a team formed to arrest the suspect.
In another incident in D-Type Colony, a woman was burnt in an assault allegedly by her husband.
The first information report stated that she was doused with kerosene oil and set on fire by her husband, a resident of Farooqabad, who accused her of loose morals.
She was later taken to Allied Hospital where doctors treating her described her condition as critical.
A police team has started raiding the area to track down the suspect.
