KARACHI: The police arrested a man on Thursday who allegedly kidnapped a two-year-old boy and then tried to sell him in exchange for drugs in the SITE area.

Feroz Khan kidnapped the boy from outside a dispensary in Pathan Colony and led him to a nearby graveyard where he tried to sell him, said SITE-A SHO Rao Rafiq.

Khan is believed to be a drug addict. “The boy had gone to the dispensary with his mother. He strolled away while playing,” he said. “Then some people told the police that someone was trying to sell a little boy in the Malakand graveyard.”

The police has booked Khan on charges of kidnapping and started investigation. According to the officer, “The little boy had bite marks on his body. I think the drug addict did that but it is too early to say what his intentions were.”
