Fall from top floor: Deceased woman identified
Body is currently lying at the mortuary of PIMS and would be collected by the family.
ISLAMABAD:
The woman who died after falling from the top floor of Al-Mustafa Towers was identified by her son, an officer of Pakistan Air Force, on Wednesday. According to his statement, the woman was mentally unstable and had attempted suicide earlier in Karachi. A resident of G-11/2, the woman disappeared on Tuesday morning and her body was later found outside the residential building. She was identified by her son when he approached the Shalimar police and was informed about a woman falling from a high-rise building. The body is currently lying at the mortuary of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and would be collected by the family on Thursday. The family did not want an investigation into the incident. However, the police said they will be questioned after the burial.
