Campaign: Three-day polio drive from July 16
The vaccination drive in 57 medium-risk union councils ended today.

The National Research and Development Foundation (NRDF) will launch a three-day special polio campaign from July 16 to July 18 in 40 high-risk union councils of Peshawar.
The vaccination drive in 57 medium-risk union councils ended today (Wednesday).
According to Dr Irfan Qadri, approximately 430,000 children will be vaccinated in the upcoming drive and 888 vaccination teams have been formed for the purpose.
He said that 205 supervisors and eight focal persons from Executive District Office and District Coordination Office have been assigned to ensure that all children under five are targeted.
NRDF senior member Maulana Jehanzeb Zahid said that a jirga was arranged in Palosai union council last month where clerics and elders cleared misconceptions about polio drops.
After that, about 100 children were inoculated.
