Golf: Local event offers Rs1m prize-money

The 4th Independence Day Cup Open Golf Championship 2012 starts tomorrow at the Defence Authority Country and Golf Club in Karachi. The tournament, offering a total prize-money of Rs 1million, is open to all golf associations and clubs associated with the Pakistan Golf Federation. Over 400 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament, including 100 professional golfers from all over the country.
