Css results announced: 239 candidates selected through FPSC examination

16 allotments to superior services made on merit, 223 made on basis of quotas for respective provinces.

ISLAMABAD:


The Establishment Division announced the selection of 239 candidates for appointments against BS-17 posts of the Occupational Groups on Tuesday.


The competitive examinations of 2011 had been conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).


According to the announcement, 16 allotments to the superior services had been made on merit. On the other hand, 223 allotments were made on the basis of quotas for respective provinces.

Some 109 vacancies were allotted to Punjab, 42 to rural Sindh and 55 to urban Sindh.

At the same time, 28 vacancies were filled by candidates from Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), 17 from Balochistan, 13 from Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and four vacancies were allotted to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) candidates.

All the candidates have been notified to send acceptances of their respective divisions and services to the Establishment Division within 15 days.
