Busted: Foreigner arrested for smuggling
An ANF official estimated the cost of the narcotics at Rs7million on the street.
FAISALABAD:
The Anti Narcotics Force on Monday arrested a woman from Faisalabad International Airport and recovered heroin from her. An ANF official estimated the cost of the narcotics at Rs7million on the street. He said ANF Assistant Director Afzal Asim and SHO Muhammad Farooq Azam had been informed about the woman trying to smuggle narcotics to Abu Dhabi. They raided the airport and arrested her. She has been identified as Shankala Silia. He said they recovered 500 grams of heroin from her shoes and 600 grams capsules in her stomach. She will be produced before a court on Tuesday (today).
