LSA spokesperson quashes rumours of a hgih profile visit from Bollywood with Karachi too unsafe for them.

KARACHI: Rumours that Bollywood celebs Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are going to be performing at the Lux Style Awards (LSA) due to be held in Karachi on Tuesday evening were quashed by an official spokesperson for the brand.

“I categorically deny these rumours,” Fareshtay Aslam, the head of the corporate affairs Unilever and the organiser of LSA, told The Express Tribune. She added with bewilderment, “have you seen the security situation in the country. Is anyone going to perform here?”

There had been rumours that the Bollywood mega stars would be performing dance numbers at the awards, in a sign of that the premier Pakistani entertainment awards show had managed to capture a part of their giant neighbour’s attention.
