The Awami Party is struggling to create a democracy for the 98 percent of the population of Pakistan who were ignored by those in power, Awami Party Punjab organiser Ayub Malik said on Sunday. Speaking at the Awami Party Lahore convention, he said that it was clear that there was no person in parliament whose hands had not been stained by corruption. The district leadership of the Awami Party was elected during the convention.
