Roof collapse: Four soldiers killed in South Waziristan

Bodies of the security officials were taken to a nearby hospital.

At least four security personnel were killed in South Waziristan when the roof of a check-post collapsed, media reports said on Saturday.

According to the reports, the check-post ceiling collapsed due to heavy rains in the area. Bodies of the security officials were taken to a nearby hospital. Identities of the deceased are yet to be known.


The army is engaged in war against terrorists in lawless tribal areas bordering Afghanistan and has wiped out most groups of militants from South Waziristan after a major military operation.
