In Search Of Water: Four men die of suffocation in well
Sixty-year-old Muhamamd Jumman Dahar climbed down the well to dig it.

Four family members died of suffocation during well digging in New Shahabad village in Mehar tehsil of Dadu on Saturday. Sixty-year-old Muhamamd Jumman Dahar climbed down the well to dig it but when he fell unconscious another four men climbed down the well but only one man returned alive. They were taken to a local hospital unconscious condition where they were pronounced dead. The deceased include two brothers Mukhtiar Ali Dahar, 30, and Sadaruddin Dahar, 25, a cousin, Ahsan Ali Dahar, 20 and their uncle Jumman Dahar. A social activist and also a family member, Nazar Hussain Dahar, said the people have been registering their complaints about the water shortage with the elected representatives pay no heed to the issue.
