Tennis: Murray should seize the day, says Henman

LONDON:

Tim Henman urged Andy Murray to seize his opportunity to make more history after the world number four ended 74 years of hurt to become the first British man in the Wimbledon final since Bunny Austin.

“What an opportunity, he’s got one monkey off the nation’s back with the first finalist in 74 years so it’s a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone,” said Henman.

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic admitted that Roger Federer will thoroughly deserve to reclaim the world number one spot if he triumphs today.

“If he wins and becomes number one, it’s going to be well deserved,” said the current world number one. “He’s played fantastic this year. He’s been so consistent. If he wins, he wins. There’s nothing I can do about it. The best player will win this tournament. I’m out.”
