Energy crisis: PTI to protest in Peshawar on July 14
PTI Chairman Imran Khan will lead the rally in Peshawar.
PESHAWAR:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) is all set to stage a “mega rally” in Peshawar on July 14 to protest against the government’s failure to overcome the ongoing energy crisis in the country.
The rally will be lead by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, said the party’s provincial spokesperson Shah Farman in a statement issued to the media on Friday.
Farman said that the rally would be a peaceful one and appealed to the common man to join them. He also claimed that the rally would be the biggest against power outages in Peshawar’s history.
In the statement, he said that the government was not living up to the expectations of the people, adding that it had failed to solve the energy crisis and the ever increasing corruption in government departments.
