Manhandling case: Court rejects bail applications

Judicial Magistrate rejected bails applications of 10 accused persons including six police officials.

The court on Thursday turned down the bail applications of 10 persons including six officials of the Fatehjang Police Post accused of manhandling three brothers manhandling during a dispute on Wednesday.

After hearing the arguments of both parties, Fatehjang Judicial Magistrate Ashraf Gondal rejected the bails applications of 10 accused persons including six police officials, who have been sent to the Attock district jail.


The police station had registered a criminal case against the all accused and arrested them on the complaint of a local resident Safdar Hashmi. The complainant had alleged that he and his two others brothers Shahid Hashmi and Ajmal Hashmi had been manhandled by the accused at a general bus stand over a toll fee dispute, causing serious injuries to them.
