Scuffle: Van conductor beaten to death by driver

FAISALABAD:

A public transport van conductor was beaten to death on Wednesday by the driver in City Jaranwala. Police said the conductor, Waqas, a resident of Mohallah Saifia Park in Islampura, was washing the vehicle, when the driver, Shehzad, reprimanded him over some mistake. This lead to an argument and was followed by a scuffle.

Witnesses told police that Shehzad started beating Waqas, due to which the latter fainted. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Doctors treating him said that he had died from a blow on the chest.
