Dual nationality: SC suspends membership of MQM MNA, MPA

The Supreme Court, during the hearing of dual nationality cases, suspended the memberships of Muhtahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Member National Assembly (MNA) Farhat Mahmood and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nadia Gabol, Express News reported on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Supreme Court suspended the membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Muhammad Jamil Malik for holding dual nationality.
A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was hearing cases pertaining to dual nationalities of assembly members.
