YouTube video of the day: Scared of proposing to a girl?

Video shows boy motivating friend to propose a girl 'before somebody else might get her.'

Ever feared getting slapped before you could propose to a girl, while your friend bucked you up to approach her?

A video titled “The Proposal – a short film” is so silly that it’s actually funny. The video features two boys, who are conversing with each other in funny-American-and-somewhat-British accents.

Boy One – who is the lead character of the story, tells Boy Two – who is his friend, that he likes a girl and that he had been noticing her for the past few days.

Boy Two motivates his friend, tries to allay his fears and tells him to approach her or “somebody else might get her.”

And as they are talking, enters the girl – the wind blowing her hair, music syncing with each footstep she takes. While she walks down the stairs with prudence, she’s approached by Boy One.

He pronounces his love for her with hesitation and uncertainty. She listens carefully while he fidgets.

As silence falls between them for two seconds, she says her first words to him: “Kya bol rahey hain mere ko angrezi samajh nae ati” (What are you saying, I do not understand English).

Shocked as she leaves him, Boy One musters up the courage and moves away from her.

Video rating: Thumbs up for the comedy which was not supposed to be.
