Honour killing?: Man stabs teenage sister to death
Brother saw her talking to someone on a cell phone, a brawl led to her being accused of having an affair.

A man stabbed his sister to death in Gali Ogra village on Monday allegedly over having an affair. According to family sources, Waqas found his sister, Nazish Bibi, 17, talking to someone on a cell phone and the two entered into a brawl when he accused her of having an affair. He got infuriated and stabbed her with a knife. She was taken to King Abdullah Hospital where she died of blood loss. Ali Asghar, the father of the accused, told the police that he did not know the reason of their dispute. However, family sources said that Waqas killed his sister “to protect his family’s honour”. The police registered an FIR against Waqas and took him into custody.
