Family dispute: Body of a man found
His autopsy report suggests he was strangled to death a few hours before his body was found.
ISLAMABAD:
The body of a young man was found from a sewage drain in Sector G-11 on Sunday. According to the Golra police, the deceased, 25-year-old Muhammad Bashir, was a resident of Dera Ismail Khan and employed as a cook at a house in G-11/2.
His autopsy report suggests he was strangled to death a few hours before his body was found. The body was identified by his cousin Ahsanullah, also a cook at a nearby house, who then approached the police to report the incident. Ahsanullah told the police that Bashir married in court two years back and his brothers-in-law were unsatisfied with the marriage despite the fact that both families had reconciled.
He suspected the brothers-in-law to be involved in killing his cousin. The police have registered a case and contacted the Dera Ismail Khan police to arrest the suspects.
