Two would-be suicide bombers were arrested from the outskirts of Peshawar on Monday.

Two would-be suicide bombers were arrested from the outskirts of Peshawar on Monday.

Police and Security forces said the bombers belonged to the Taliban faction in the Mohmand Agency and their target was the city of Peshawar.

The would-be bombers were carrying large shopping bags when they are told to stop by security forces at which they tried to run away. The police recovered suicide jackets and ammunition from the bags.

They have been shifted to an unidentified location for further investigation.
