Judicial panel extends tenure of four PHC judges

CJ recommends a year-long extension in the tenure of four additional judges of the Peshawar High Court.

ISLAMABAD:


A judicial commission, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, recommended a year-long extension in the tenure of four additional judges of the Peshawar High Court on Saturday.



The commission met at the Supreme Court building and, according to an official decree, recommended appointing Shah Jahan Khanzada and Irshad Qaisar as additional judges of the Peshawar High Court. Additionaly the court proposed a year-long extension in the service of Justice Khalid Mehmood, Justice Nisar Hussain, Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth and Justice Qaisar Rasheed.
