Young Rising Star FC crushed Women University Sargodha 7-0 in the opening match of the Pakistan Football Federation Women’s Inter-Club Championship Islamabad leg, while Eagle FC defeated Soccer Queens FC 3-0 yesterday. The defending national champions scored four goals in the first half and three in the second in a match dominated by the frontline. In the second match, Mailaka scored two goals, while Hina scored one. So far, Diya FC and The City FC have qualified for the second round from Karachi, while Vehari FC will represent Bahawalpur. Lahore School of Economics topped the Lahore table, while Balochistan United FC will also play the second round in September.
