Visually challenged: Students to be appointed as teachers
Ansari and Asfar had bagged first and second positions, respectively.

The provincial minister of special education, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, announced on Thursday that the visually challenged students, Shahid Ansari and Ameenat Afsar, will be appointed as Grade-17 teachers in his department.
Ansari and Asfar had bagged first and second positions, respectively, in the Master’s programme for Urdu at University of Karachi last year.
“Despite a disability, both the students have set an example of courage by achieving something substantial in their lives,” Shaikh said.
