Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced that its broadband customers can be upgraded from 2Mbps to 4Mbps connection at an additional charge of Rs500 only. In a press release, PTCL says its broadband service offers seamless internet experience, uninterrupted streaming and fastest downloading speeds. The company offers a variety of broadband packages. The 1Mb connection costs Rs1,250, 2Mb costs Rs1,499, 4Mb is priced at Rs1,999, 6Mb at Rs4,999, 8Mb for Rs6,999 and the mammoth 10Mb costs Rs9,999. “PTCL is aiming to bridge the digital divide by bringing the most affordable telecommunication services across the country,” said Senior Executive Vice President Commercial Naveed Saeed.
