KARACHI: Unknown assailants attacked a police station in Karachi’s Chakiwara area Thursday night, firing a rocket and hurling four hand grenades, Express News reported.

The assailants had surrounded the station, firing at it from all sides.

Four to five explosions had been heard in the area.

During the day, six people, including a woman, had been killed in different acts of violence in the city.
