KARACHI:

The government needs to restore confidence among the traders’ community, and police should hold frequent meetings with members of the business community, said Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah while chairing a law and order meeting on Wednesday.

Shah added that police, Rangers and other law enforcement officials should take timely action against culprits in order to rein in incidents of target killings and extortion in the city. The suspects should be produced in courts and the prosecution should submit irrefutable evidence so that they are not acquitted.
