Pledge: ‘Foolproof security’ for trade delegations pledged
Police were soon starting an automated attendance system to improve the performance of the department.
FAISALABAD:
Superintendent of Police (Security Branch) Imran Kishwar has assured the members of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) about the security arrangement put in place for trade delegations and foreigners visiting the city.
Speaking to the FCCI members on Monday, he also assured the traders that the scope of the conciliation committees consisting of policemen and trade organisations would be expanded. He said the police would approach the FCCI before starting investigations if any complaints were received against a trader affiliated with the FCCI.

Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) chief Junaid Ahmad Banth, FCCI President Muzammal Sultan ASP Sargodha Road Malik Jameel, Hajji Muhammad Abid, Chaudhary Muhammad Asghar, Jameel Ahmad, Chauhdary Tallat Mehmood, Rana Muhammad Sikandar Azam Khan and former FCCI president Aftab Ahmad also spoke on the occasion.
