Poor performance: Notices to Lyallpur Town police

FAISALABAD: Show-cause notices have been issued to the station house officers and investigation officers of eight police stations in Lyallpur Town on charges of poor performance, negligence, and delinquency. The notices have been issued on directives of Lyallpur Town superintendent of police Zahid Mehmood Gondal. A statement issued on Sunday said that the SHOs and the IOs of Civil Lines, Kotwali, Rail Bazaar, Gulberg, Jhang Bazaar, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Razabad and Women police stations had failed to show considerable improvement in controlling crime in their areas.
