The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has launched an operation to inspect the quality and monitor the speed of development work in approved schemes. LDA staff inspected several private housing schemes in the presence of their developers and collected 15 samples of material being used in the construction of roads and other infrastructure. LDA has advised people not to buy plots in schemes not been approved by the authority.
