KARACHI: Through the amalgamation of sound, music and lyrics, underground musicians have struggled to convey their thoughts and ideas by redefining the music scene. On the local front, Lussun TV is in full support of bringing those ideas to the forefront.

A concert was held at T2F by Lussun TV that featured many local underground bands like Chand Tara Orchestra, Orangenoise, Sikandar ka Mandir, Jumbo Jutt, Lower Sindh Swing Orchestra, Viral Age and Mole.

The three-hour long concert showcased different genres of music from rock to noise, from ambience to experimental.

Although the concert featured talented young musicians, the sound system ruined the experience for the audience, and frequently forced the musicians to re-adjust their amplifiers.

Nevertheless, many looked forward to attending the second day of the Lussun Fest and further explore the underground music of Karachi.

The Lussun Fest is a two-day concert, with a second day of underground bands to feature June 29, 2012.

Ali S | 11 years ago | Reply I'm pretty sure the "terrible" sounds were just these who barely know how to play their instruments making noise under the guise of "ambient / experimental music". I miss good old Pakistani pop that everyone enjoyed, like we had back in the 90s. Now it's either Bollywood or burger bacha noise.
