Volleyball: Police defeat Punjab in opener
Police outclassed Punjab 25-17, 25-22, 25-10.

Pakistan Police defeated Punjab in the opening match of the All Pakistan Invitational Volleyball Tournament that was held at the Peshawar Sports Complex. Police outclassed Punjab 25-17, 25-22, 25-10. The tournament has been organised by the Khyber-Pakhtukhwa (K-P) Volleyball Association with the collaboration of the K-P Sports Board. A total of 48 players and eight officials from Punjab, Pakistan Police, K-P and Wapda are participating in the three-day event. “The tournament aims at finding new talent for the national team as we are planning to hold a national championship in September,” said an official.
