Prominent scholar and TV show host Obaidullah Baig passed away early Friday morning in Karachi, Express News reported.
Baig, of game show Kasauti fame, will be laid to rest following funeral prayers offered at Sultan Masjid in Defence phase V, today.
He leaves behind a wife and three daughters.
The scholar gained popularity in the 1970s when his show Kasauti, teamed with Ghazi Salauddin, was aired on PTV.
