Discrimination: Residents of four blocks denied water supply
Residents of blocks 4, 9 and 13 were facing discriminatory treatment from the Water Supply Directorate of the CDA.
ISLAMABAD:
Residents of four of government-built blocks in Sector G-10/2 complained on Thursday that they had not received water for the past two days.
Alamdar Naqvi, a resident of Block 3, told APP that they and residents of blocks 4, 9 and 13 were facing discriminatory treatment from the Water Supply Directorate of the Capital Development Authority.
He said that there are 24 blocks in the locality, but only the above mentioned blocks are being subjected to intermittent water shortage for the past three months. He said that they had lodged “many complaints” with the CDA to no avail.
