Murder: Man kills cousin after wives argue
after an argument over a petty issue. Arif died on the spot.
ISLAMABAD:
A man shot dead his cousin after having an argument allegedly provoked by their respective wives, said police. Muhammad Arif pulled out a gun and opened fire at Raza Muhammad, his cousin and resident of Pind Parian in Tarnol, after an argument over a petty issue. Arif died on the spot. His body was shifted to Pims. Police said the suspect escaped from the scene after committing the murder. During initial investigations, the police found Muhammad was fed up with constant arguments between the two’s wives which often ended with the men intervening to stop them. However, the police said the case was under investigations to determine if there were other motives involved as the victim’s family claimed the two men had an old enmity.
