Attempted suicide: Man sets himself alight
Police said Shakil was a roadside vendor, who had been selling vegetables on a pushcart for the last few years.

A man attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze under unknown circumstances here on Tuesday. The Kotnajibullah police said that Shakil 28 and a father of three, was a roadside vendor, who had been selling vegetables on a pushcart for the last few years. On Monday, he came home infuriated for some reason, locked himself in a room and doused kerosene oil on himsef and set himself on fire. His family members and neighbours took him to the Women and Children Hospital Haripur, from where he was referred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where his condition is stated to be critical.
