Incognito: Tribal rivalry claims two lives

SUKKUR: Burqa-clad men allegedly opened fire on a roadside hotel at Sadhuja Chowk, within Baiji police limits, on Monday, and killed two men and injured another. The suspects shot Ubaidullah Chachar and Fauji Chachar outside the hotel, before firing upon a passerby, Mukhtiar Channa, while fleeing. Ubaidullah and Channa died on the spot, while Fauji was injured. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Pano Akil hospital. Pano Akil SHO Ghulam Mustafa Mirani suggested that the attack was a result of the enmity between Chachar and Mahar clans. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
