Football: Fatima Jinnah win seven-a-side event

FMD Fatima Jinnah High School clinched the seven-a-side Girls Youth Football School Championship as they defeated Agha Khan Girls High School Kharadar 1-0 in the final at the KPT Stadium. The event was held by the Pakistan Football Federation in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commissions Outreach Programme to promote football among women in Pakistan. The event featured teams from eight different regions of Karachi. Humera Mohammad got the best player of the tournament trophy for scoring eight goals in seven matches, while Shaheera was named the best goal-keeper of the tournament.
