Football: Chitral edge through to semis

Chitral reached the semi-finals of the All Pakistan Governor Gold Cup Football Tournament after defeating PAF 2-1. Zaiul Islam scored for Chitral before Irfan levelled. However, Ishtiaq hit a goal in the second-half to tilt the match in favour of Chitral. “The PAF were the favourites,” Chitral captain Mohammad Rasool told The Express Tribune. “But we performed well and played according to our game plan.”
