Daughter’s marriage: Woman killed by husband

ISLAMABAD: A woman was killed by her husband on Saturday evening for refusing to agree to their daughter’s proposal, according to the police. Shazia Bibi, 45, was killed by her husband Muhammad Ayub after they had a fight over their daughter’s marriage in Meraabadi, Sector G-11. The mother of four was killed for refusing to a proposal favoured by her husband. Sub Inspector (SI) Gorla Police Malik Muhammad said that after a fight, Sahzia’s enraged husband attacked her with a flat pan. She was taken to Pims, where she died. Ayub has been arrested and will be produced before the court on Monday.
