Preparations for the wedding of grandson of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Zaid Hussain Nawaz, have been completed, with arrangements in place for international guests attending the event, Express News reported on Monday. Zaid is the son of Hussain Nawaz, who was declared bankrupt by a British court.

According to sources within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the wedding celebrations will see guests from various countries, including the US, UK, European nations, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, India, and neighbouring countries, arriving in Pakistan.

For accommodation, 25 to 30 rooms have been booked at the Faisalabad Hotel, while the State Guest House has also been notified for hosting guests.

All members of the Sharif family residing abroad, including the younger daughter of the former prime minister, Asma Nawaz, have already arrived in Pakistan. Hussain, along with his family, has also arrived in Lahore for the wedding, according to sources.

Security arrangements for both local and international guests have been made by Punjab Police, following official orders.

The wedding celebrations will begin with Zaid’s Nikah on December 25, which will coincide with the Henna ceremony at Jati Umra, where 500 guests are expected. The wedding will take place on December 27, with 700 guests invited for the grand reception, also known as the Valima, on December 29.
