Strategic relations: Sri Lanka navy chief meets Sandila

Vice Admiral Dissanayake is on a second leg of his tour.

Sri Lankan Navy Commander Vice Admiral DWAS Dissanayake met with his Pakistani counterpart Admiral Asif Sandila on Friday, according to a press release issued by the Pakistan Navy’s Public Relations department.


The two discussed professional matters during the meeting. A comprehensive briefing highlighted Pakistan Navy’s role in the regional maritime security situation as well as operational developments. Vice Admiral Dissanayake is on a second leg of his tour and had earlier visited PN units and installations at Karachi and Lahore.
