Corporal punishment: Complaint lodged against teacher
When they were playing during recess, their class teacher started beating them with a bamboo stick for making noise.

A teacher of a private school was accused of subjecting four students to corporal punishment here on Friday. The parents lodged a complaint with the police but the teacher is still at large, said family sources. The Khaki police station said that Gul Zarin, Banaras and Farooq Shah lodged a complaint saying that their sons Mohsin, Hasan, Jamal and Jalal Shah respectively were the students of class two at a private school in Hari Maira village. When they were playing during recess, their class teacher Shakil Ahmed started beating them with a bamboo stick for making noise. The boys were sent home, from where their parents took them to the police station. They were then taken to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra where the doctors confirmed bruises on their bodies. However, the accused is still at large and no case has been registered.
