Drowning: Korang Nullah claims another life

The body of the boy was pulled put by divers of Pakistan Navy.

ISLAMABAD:
In yet another incident of drowning, a young man on Thursday drowned in Korang Nullah near Dungi Kasi in the outskirts of the city. The body of the boy was pulled put by divers of Pakistan Navy. Bhara Kahu police said the boy came to the river for bathing along with his friends. While swimming, the 20-year-old Mumtaz Ahmed somehow went into deep and fast-flowing waters. He was swept away to a point where his friends could not get to him, police officials said. Ahmed’s body was handed over to his family.
