Illegal connections: Wasa sets June 30 deadline
The agency said strict action would be taken against people failing in this regard.

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has given people getting water from illegal connections till June 30 to get their connections regularised. In a press statement released on Thursday, the agency said strict action would be taken against people failing in this regard. WASA managing director Syed Aziz Ahmad said teams had been formed for a door-to-door campaign. He said legal action would be taken against people found using water supplied through illegal connections. It said those getting water from such connections should get in touch with the Wasa office and get their connections regularised.
