Pak-iran: Trade gate shut for indefinite time

The zero point trade gate at the Pakistan Iran border has been closed for an indefinite period

QUETTA:
The zero point trade gate at the Pakistan Iran border has been closed for an indefinite period on Thursday. According to media reports, the Iranian authorities have closed the gate without any prior intimation. It is estimated that due to this closure the local traders are suffering losses of millions of rupees. On the other hand, public said that the zero point has been closed due to the three day Khatm-e-Albukhari conference being held in Iranian city of Zahiddan, which starts on Friday.
