Murder: PML-N leader shot dead
He suffered multiple bullet injuries and died of his wounds in a hospital.

Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Afzal Khan was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Wednesday morning. According to the Kanju police, a group of masked men intercepted Khan as he came out of his house in Damghar, Kabal tehsil. He suffered multiple bullet injuries and died of his wounds in a hospital. The Kanju police, with the voluntary help of local militia, cordoned off the area and started search for the assailants. Police also registered an FIR against unidentified gunmen. Khan was a renowned politician and businessman. His death has raised questions by local political leaders and social activists about the security situation in the area.
